"Iron" Mike Tyson

Now 58, Tyson last entered the ring in 2005 for his 58th career bout, during which he faced five losses, three of them in his final four fights. Famously disqualified in 1997 for biting a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear, Tyson remains one of the most feared names in boxing history.

"Iron Mike" now returns to take on 27-year-old Jake Paul in a match fans have eagerly awaited.

Known for his ruthless knockouts, "Iron Mike" Tyson won his first 19 fights by KO and remains one of boxing's most intimidating figures, both in the ring and through his intense, fast-talking interviews. Tyson has also made six appearances in Hollywood films, including memorable cameos in The Hangover and its sequel.

Jake "The Problem Child" Paul

Jake Paul, who rose to fame on Vine in 2013 with over 2 billion views before moving to YouTube in 2014, is known for his pranks and controversies. Standing at 1.85 meters, Paul ventured into amateur boxing in 2018, turning professional two years later with a debut win against YouTuber AnEsonGib. Paul now holds an impressive record, winning 10 out of his 11 professional bouts.

Ringside tickets for the highly anticipated event reportedly sell for $50,000 (about R902,615).
